1. There is a $26 dollar per day 'fee,' for 1 bottle of water, 45 minutes of wifi and long distance (?)> Good part of the fee, if you rent a car, parking is free.

2. Also, they salt the wound with a little card at check in that details all of the other (typically free) things this fee covers, like water in the room and 'a collection of coupons' (that even a Holiday Inn provides at no cost).

3. Beware there's a resort fee, but worth it if you have a car since it covers self-parking, plus WiFi, pool towel fees etc, and is cheaper than self-parking alone.

4. I can live with a room being quite basic if the service was great, but when it's not, and you pay a huge amount + tax + resort fee for terrible service- you come away feeling completely ripped off.

10. The resort fee actually includes a huge bottle of water and wired internet access in your room so that is a huge plus for the 20 bucks as one do not have to go to the lobby to use their Link@Sheraton if you have a lap top with you.
