1. Look around, there are much nicer hotels in this area for better prices.

2. I was given an 'upgrade' to the newer tower because of said leak problem, so I am not entirely sure what the price difference between the towers may be, but I was told by the front desk that the difference was $35/night, which if accurate, is well worth it.
