However, this room had an older style window which did not provide noise insulation from the
street
so I could hear cars going by, and also there was a terrible draft.

Also, be sure to ask for a room that is fully renovated, if you don't want to hear
street
noise and have a draft in the winter.

not a big deal when's its not 100+ degrees because there is plenty of
street
parking that's free; one fee you can't escape is the $5 resort fee (or something like that).

Very convenient to the light rail, a short walk up the
street
with access to some great eating/drinking spots (Pane Bianco for a sandwich)Renovation consists of a LOT of paint of varied colors in all public areas.

We were on the 4th floor and could hear people on the
street
below as if they were right next to the window.

This was great for keeping the pool noise to a minimum, but it meant that we could hear everything going on down
street
side.

Give it a shot-it is reasonably priced and if you find it too funky you can go down the
street
to the Hilton Garden Inn for twice the price.

I could probably have gotten a full refund for all charges, including the room, at places like the Hampton Inn or Hilton down the
street
.
