1. - Free access to Golds Gym in downtown Phoenix (about a ten minute drive).
"nice concept, a little worn " Read full review on TripAdvisor   3/14/2012 Vote
2. Also, as a bodybuilder their in-house gym rates as one of the best I have seen anywhere- and I've pumped hotel iron on 4 continents- they squeeze a LOT of equipment into a small but very well laid out space.
"This has become my home away from home while in Phoenix. " Read full review on TripAdvisor   8/23/2010 Vote
3. I headed to the lobby and used the gym then stopped by the free computer/printer to print off directions to the place I wanted to go.
"2nd stay - Still great " Read full review on TripAdvisor   4/21/2009 Vote
4. This place is not the 2.5 stars it is advertised as, it is just a glorfied motel - Rooms are nice, large, great bathroom amenities from France, but the floor of the tub was dirty so I HAD TO CLEAN IT MYSELF before stepping in, hotel has a good gym but an almost bizaare color scheme, areas are half painted and look abandoned, tries to be artsy but falls short, staff is young, with tattoos, nice, friendly, location is excellent downtown but out of the way so quiet, supposed to be a non smoking hotel but people just step outside of their rooms to smoke and it drifts in around the cracks and into the central air, should be enforced non smoking if advertised as such, elevator floor was filthy, this place needs a good good steam cleaning, restaurant was closed when I was there, looked out of business for quite some time, wouldn`t mind a cheap Priceline stay there in the future but would NEVER recommend this place at the rack rate, no way.
"Hip staff, Great Location, Really Needs a thorough cleaning though. " Read full review on TripAdvisor   8/24/2007 Vote
5. - The staff didn't really seem to know where the Golds Gym was.

6. I would have expected the front desk to have a map to the gym that they could have given me, with the gym address and hours on it, and maybe some information on parking and that the entrance to the gym was around back on the second floor.
"nice concept, a little worn " Read full review on TripAdvisor   3/14/2012 Vote
7. If you stay here and want to work out, you should plan on heading over to Golds Gym.

8. I ended up showing at the Golds Gym one morning--the locker rooms there are significantly nicer.

9. This quality has been eclipsed by inattentive service (nobody at the front desk for check-in), faux chic, and service fee ($20 per night for quasi-covered parking, a gym with minimalist space and equipment, pool, and Internet).
"Disappointing after all these years " Read full review on TripAdvisor   2/17/2012 Vote
10. and the gym is incluid.
"Total RIP-Of!!! $20 Resort fee at the Check in " Read full review on TripAdvisor   2/8/2012 Vote
