3. (It was the reason we chose Embassy Suites) :)The hotel is very close to so many good (if chain) restaurants - Weber Grille, Champs etc and right by a movie theatre and walking distance from the beautiful downtown capitol building and monuments.

4. Obviously, the Conrad is a big cut above, the Hilton offers nice large room/suite opportunities, and the Garden Inn, Homewood, and Hampton are all in distinctive repurposed buildings.
