1. This is not at all your Omni, which is a block away, but it's linens and bedding are every bit as comfortable, and its showers are superior.

2. Obviously, we went immediately down to the front desk to report the disruption, including where it came from, and I also asked that my bathroom (which consisted solely of a toilet and shower) be cleaned.

3. The room was interesting - the bed faced the windows which was a little annoying in the morning and the closet was very small but I liked the shower and sink.

Wonderful things about the hotel:- High ceilings with great views of the skyline- Large shower that includes dispensers of shower gel and shampoo/conditioner (the combination stuff, not one of each)- Conveniently located in the middle of downtown Charlotte and right by both the bus depot and a train station- Lots of amenities - pool, workout room, pool table in the lobby, etc- Staff was very friendly and helpful- Room was very clean- Free internet - both wifi and cable (this is something the other hotels in the SPG chain do not offer, so I was excited to find it here)- This is one of the best prices and values you can find in UptownThings that are not so wonderful about the hotel:- These are NOT the Sheraton/Westin beds.

5. It has great contemporary styling with all the latest trends such as vessel sinks, frameless glass shower,platform beds, and flat screen TV.

6. Liked the layout and unlike criticisms often seen for other hotels, no dirt, bad smells etc and the towels were thick and the shower was a stylish glass enclosure also very clean.

7. They were very modern and upgraded with bowl sinks and nice showers and platform beds.

8. The shower had a unique frosted glass wall to let light in from the main room which was nice and the water pressure was strong.

9. Nice shower, large tv mounted on the wall of the bedroom, cordless phones, safe, latest issues of popular magazines and a modern/trendy style room.

10. The rooms are fairly spacious with a nice sized bed, a massive flatscreen HD tv, free wifi, a big walk in shower, coffee maker with herbal teas too, and very decent toiletries from Bliss.
