2. The only reason I didn't rate it lower was because the price was reasonable for the location, but the $350/night rate that is posted in the room would be a huge waste of money.

3. When I got to Charlotte, however, I saw what a relatively small 'City' it is, and it seems ridiculous to pay big city parking rates in a downtown that is six blocks square.

Be aware that you have to park in the Epicenter garage, which is $20 for 24hr but it is an hourly rate which is better than flat fee of a Hilton, Westin, etc. The rooms are situated above the Epicenter area with restaurants and bars so you can hear some nightlife but it wasn't an issue for me on the 15th floor.

8. Now that I get the information needed from tailgate group I get a email stating that they can not give group rates unless we book a 3 night minimum.
