1. The hotel has only a small sign indicating it whereabouts and we just happened to luck into parking in the correct spot for valet parking, which was a reasonable $20.00 a night, and could be charged to your room.

4. When I got to Charlotte, however, I saw what a relatively small 'City' it is, and it seems ridiculous to pay big city parking rates in a downtown that is six blocks square.

6. If you want to be crafty, parking is free on the street near the hotel (if you can find a space) from 6pm till 7am.

7. But I also know if you go out to one of the tram (LYNX) stations outside the city they have a park and ride facility with free parking just the cost of a LYNX ticket.
