4. With a fantastic location in the Catalina Foothills the resort boasts great view of both the mountains and the city but is also a quick drive to most anything in Tucson.

5. The Views were amazing, Pools were very nice, the suite was great, the golf courses were great, the regular rooms were not bad, but the service was the best.

We were in building F - an 'uphill' walk from the main pool area - but a nice view of the mountains at sunrise (my colleague was in building C and she had a view overlooking the golf course and stunning Arizona Sunsets!) The resort is spread out; I enjoyed walking around the property between buildings but someone who has difficulty walking up and down hills may not like this (although they do have an abundance of staff with golf carts to take you around).

7. If you are coming to La Paloma in the next month - also try the J Bar (next to Janos) - great sunset views and one of the best margaritas (half priced during happy hour 5-6:30 pm).
