1. It's a few blocks from the main street in Santa Barbara but within walking distance and besides there is plenty of parking in Santa Barbara's downtown area.

Still, this was a great place to stay---close to State Street attractions and less than 10 minutes from the airport and UCSB campus,The Pepper Tree Inn is not far from Jeannine's Bakery, Whole Foods Market, and Chaucer's Bookstore if you are looking for a snack or a good book to read during your stay here on Upper State Street.
