Although this hotel was truly just a place for us lay our heads at night and crash after a long day of wine tasting, it was a great experience overall, and would recommend it especially for people who are planning on spending most of their time exploring the wine country and fabulous Santa Barbara.

7. The on-site food available was a Diner, pretty basic so we didn't sample it and chose to eat in Santa Barbara town ( we recommend Jeannines for breakfast- great coffee and pastries with a large range of cooked options).

9. I'd highly recommend this hotel as a good base for anyone visiting SB, hotels here can be expensive but the Pepper Tree is reasonably priced and good value for money.
