1. We were on the 4th floor and only heard a little street noise but could sleep well without it disturbing us.

2. We had a room on the 9th floor looking out front hotel, yes there was some noise but it was liveable and added to the ambience you are in new york.

3. Our room was large with a big comfy Queen size Bed, Seating area and dressing table, plus flat screen TV the bathroom was very tiny but catered for needs, The only negative I can say re the Hotel was the noise even though the windows were double glazed and we kept them closed every night we were woken several times by some form of noise, Saturday was Constant police sirens and people noise but 2 of the nights all night long construction work was taking place and a hammer drill going constantly at 2am wasn't pleasent so NY really is the city that never sleeps so I would highly reconmend a good pair of ear plugs.

4. The air conditioner did not cool the room--thank goodness the windows opened (although that led to issues with street noise).

10. This turned out to be a broken central heating system and would do loud banging noises throughout the night? We wanted to bring this to the attention of the staff to look at and the member of staff was extremely rude so I spoke to the manager and they said they would have a look.
