1. apologies but i lost the names of duty manager that morning and doorman but big thanks to front desk youssef and agnes in transportation who delt with us very well,cafe edison is a little gem,all the staff very friendly and there egg n bacon breakfast was exellent,first time ever as well exellent tvs in the rooms.

3. An unapologetic manager at my request did end up comping us the night and paid for me to dry clean all my clothing.

5. We wanted to bring this to the attention of the staff to look at and the member of staff was extremely rude so I spoke to the manager and they said they would have a look.

6. We managed to somehow how get it into a bin and I went down to reception with the cockroach bin and asked to speak to the manager.

7. When we reported it to the desk clerk who then notified the manager, she wanted to give us a free breakfast the next time we stay with them, which we will never do.

We were booked in by the 'assistant manager' who booked us into a double room with a pull out sofabed (I was travelling with my sister and my father) on explaining that this room was unsuitable and on producing the email confirming the booking I had made for a specfic type of room, the assistant manager told me over and over again that the hotel did not operate a policy where the would guarantee a specific room and the member of staff who sent me the email was wrong to do so.

10. The assistant manager then told me that she could give us another room that one of us could stay in - a bit of a compromise we were prepared to make until she said it was going to to cost us $229.00 per night.
