3. If you are able to lift your luggage over the turn styles, this is may be a cheaper alternative to the shuttles and taxis.

4. The shuttle that they arranged for us from JFK to the hotel was horrible and since they are a 'separate company' the hotel refused to acknowledge responsibility even though they promote the services on their website.

5. When we checked in they were talking between themselves while processing us without barely acknowledging us and then when we asked them to call to confirm the shuttle to the airport we were told they dont do that but 'maybe the conceriege will help but i doubt it'.

7. There is also a travel desk and a computer terminal near reception so you can book a car/shuttle etc back to the airport (we found it was a little more expensive than booking direct with the shuttle bus company at around $27 pp to JFK, but this was inclusive of tax and gratuities).

9. We were so pleased to be so central when the shuttle bus dropped off other couples near at hotels near the Hudson!:) I was a little underwhelmed with the room when I first arrived as fairly basic but this hotel is all about location and was perfectly comfortable.

10. the great thing about this hotel is the location, the worst thing about the hotel is the so called shuttle bus service, we were told it should take 35 mins to get to the airport from the hotel so we booked it for 5.00pm we were flying out at 9.
