2. When I walked over to the 'host hotel' for the convention center to meet a friend and saw the line of 50 people waiting to check-in to the hotel amidst a lot of noise and confusion, I knew I lucked out by being placed at the Hotel Palomar.

5. Just a word of caution, I was in the corner king on floor 5 and the cable car, street noise was a bit much - also the Old Navy was doing some major construction early in the mornings - not sure how long that will continue but I reco the higher floor rooms on 9 - all in all a great hotel, stayed at the Intercontinental last trip and I like the Palomar better.
"Loved it - perfect San Fran business hotel " Read full review on TripAdvisor   4/6/2012 Vote
6. My room faced an interior courtyard of some sort which meant there was no noise from outside whatsoever there was also no view but would much rather have it that way.

9. The hotel is beautiful and the location is just second to none, but little things we noticed really made a difference, for example, the quilt was a bit dirty (yellow with some stain), the fitness room is tiny and because its between other rooms, we weren't sure if we were making too much noise when we went on the treadmill.
"Excellent location, beautiful hotel but leaves something to be desired " Read full review on TripAdvisor   12/8/2011 Vote
10. People have mentionned the noise of Market Street but while we were conscious of traffic particularly if an ambulance or police car went by with siren on, it was not at all obtrusive.
"Kimpton scores again " Read full review on TripAdvisor   11/16/2011 Vote
