2. When I walked over to the 'host hotel' for the convention center to meet a friend and saw the line of 50 people waiting to check-in to the hotel amidst a lot of noise and confusion, I knew I lucked out by being placed at the Hotel Palomar.

6. I took the F-line to FishermanWharf-My son had a gold fish for his pet and there is a beautiful chocolate lab that greets us when we check in.
