1. The hotel is a beautiful, old world jewel in bustling San Antonio and its location on the Riverwalk is not to be beat, as well as being reasonably priced.

4. When you have most restaurants and areas in the cith offering free wi-fi, is there any reason to have to pay for this at a hotel? I will not stay here again in light of the reasons explained.

9. From the charming lobby, friendly front desk staff, excellent downtown location (literally 75 steps or 90 seconds to the Riverwalk), to the clean, quirky rooms, the Gunter is a reasonably priced strong value.

10. I appreciated that they not only offered a breakfast buffet (at additional charge) but they had a nice bakery so you could just grab a muffin or pastery and were very reasonable priced.
