1. I regularly stay at the beautiful Gunter Hotel with my teenage daughter to have easy access to the Majestic Theater and everything else fun about San Antonio.

2. Their hotel choice also needed a good restaurant, in addition to a fast pick-up breakfast alternative, a fun bar, a computer center for obtaining boarding passes, a gym for those who found the time to work out, and most of all, clean, comfortable sleeping quarters.

9. so many sirens)-Pool area was noticeably neglected-Some rooms (guest and meeting) noticeably smelled of mildew-Internet was only free in the lobby-In-hotel bakery/deli was advertised as being a Starbucks but none of the staff knew how to make proper drinks and service was slowAll things aside, San Antonio is a fun city to hang out with colleagues (restaurants, bars) but I would stay ANYWHERE on the riverwalk besides the Gunter.
