2. There was a resort fee, which would have been fine because it was clear up-front, except that the amenities were comparable to that of a motel.

4. Upon arriving I was promptly asked for my credit card which would not have bothered me except for the fact that I called and asked if I needed to have a credit card to check-in and was told that since I booked through Hotwire I would not need one.

7. I should say that we have no connection whatsoever with the hotel except as satisfied guests.

8. The safe in the room did not work, so we had no way to store valuables except in the trunk of our car, and had to lug belongings back and forth each time we left the room.
