1. On checking in, we were offered a free gift if we went to the Concierge Desk - when we got there they were simply trying to get us to attend a TimeShare meeting to buy into one of their new developments, if we attended we would be rewarded with a $100 American Express card.

4. We asked the concierge about the shuttle to Universal and ended up with a 5 minute presentation about the 'new hotel' Hilton had just built somewhere close by.

5. The new room was about the same as the first except the thermostat looked like it was about 40 years old and worked about as well as it looked.

6. There is a new roller coaster in the Studios park that is always breaking down, but I wouldn't go on that anyway.

7. They changed our room (gave us a free breakfast) and when I checked out the mattresses in the new room they also looked fine.

10. What needs to change:1) rooms need new carpeting2) if you are going to use CFL bulbs in the lamps, don't pick the awful sterile looking bright white ones.
