1. Chose the Doubletree for it's convenient location (~10-15 min walk) to Universal's City Walk.

8. What hotel lacks in finesse and extras is overcome by convenience to 'I ride' local restaurants and shops easy walk ( as long as not too hot) to Universal.

9. I drink tea morning and evening so a microwave would have made getting hot water more convenient but I was able to get hot water from the bar or deli when I wanted it.
