1. The staff with the exception of Brittany at the front desk (mid shift) were very nice and helpful.

3. Service was good, except for one very stressed valet who was extremely rude and no one picked up our room service order the night before, so we had to call the next morning and order it in a hurry (they delivered it promptly).

6. We prefer not to eat in the Quarter (with a few exceptions) and love that the bus and streetcar lines are within a few feet of the hotel, providing access to our favorite restaurants.

8. If traveling with small children the hotel doesn't have much to offer except the pool as do most hotels in the French Quarter's & Central Business District.

9. Since I am a member of the Marriott and Hyatt Club Rewards, I had never received this kind of welcoming at the Hyatt or at the Marriott chains (except for upgrade room when available.
