1. most hotels show a professional politness the reception and welcome at loews was exceptional and well above anything thing we experienced on our recent trip, at reception we immediatley upgraded just because we were english and on our first trip to nashville and they wanted to make us welcome.

5. The toiletries smelled lovely and worked great, except on my hair; we found an Aveda salon just a block or so away (Natural Oasis) where I could obtain some familiar hair care products, and then I was much better coiffed.

8. At the front desk I asked where I should go for lunch and was told repeatedly that the hotel restaurant is very good, except I wanted to explore the city, not the hotel, which I expressed.
