3. OK, positives first, the staff were friendly and very helpful at fixing things (explained below), lobby is really nice and the free use of Apple Macs in reception and wireless for free was also quite helpful.

I recently stayed at the Sofitel los angeles, it has a very convenient location if you are going for business or for shopping (a large mall is just in front of the hotel); not that many dining options within a walking distance but who is walking in LA?staying in the sofitel is always a guarantee to have a nice room and a friendly staff, really good value for the hotel.
