1. If you are going to Vegas to walk on the strip and go know all the other casino and hotels, go nightclub, or sightseeing, you dont need anything more than a clean room where you can restCasino is nice, on weekends it gets very busy, besides, is the only casino with 1 dollar blackjack tables.

2. room reaked smoke alarm was hanging out of the ceiling by wires, went to the front desk and they upgraded us to the premier and the furniture wasnt as beat up but that was the only difference smoke alarm still hanging out by wires still smelled i felt filthy in both rooms, needless to say we checked out and stayed else where, the nascar store is pretty much no more they dont carry any of the new stuff and it went from being a nice store to a little hole in a wall.

3. We drove up to Vegas from Los Angeles,for a 1 night stay,the hotel was great very friendly staff and helpfull,terrific rates,a suite for $65,we loved the casino,Free drinks in the casino was a very nice surprise,we are going back in 2011 this time for 10 nights.

6. The House of Lords Steakhouse is a solid option for an old school dinner, you really can't go wrong with any cut of beef and nice sides.

7. My suite on the 27th (top) floor of Tangiers Tower was very nice, with a spacious living room with wet bar, King bedroom and nice bathroom with garden tub and separate glassed-in shower.
