1. Yes, there was some wear to carpets, wall paper, and such, but it is an older hotel, so that is to be expected, as lots of people pass through, many of whom are probably not as respectful of their surroundings as they would be in their own homes, and it is unrealistic for people to expect complete perfection in that respect unless you are the first guest in a new/remodeled room.

This hotel is the pits,dirty,disgusting,gross,filthy,We stayed at this hotel 12yrs ago and thought it was nasty then, swore we never stay there again BUT we came to Las Vegas a day early,we were told Sahara went thru a remodel no other hotels were available SO we booked a room at Sahara what a mistake I should have known better as soon as we walked in and saw carpet I should have ran out then But being tired thought what the heck,MY GOD WHAT A DUMP.

9. This hotel is one of the oldest in Las Vegas, and althought they state that they are remodeling, it is an outdated, unsafe hotel.

10. They offered an upgrade to a newly remodeled room on an upper floor for an additional cost, and so we took it, thinking we may have a better view of fireworks and away from lower floor noise.
