1. the staff are devastated its closing and its unfortunate but its Vegas and i assume bigger and better to come.

4. My room had clearly seen better days and I wondered what the place must have looked like when the wallpaper and carpet were first put down around 1970.

5. There are so many other places to go and much better service yes you will pay more for it but for the extra 20-30 bucks is well worth it.

6. I also find some of these new 4 star hotel and casino reported on Bedbug registry that people think are better than the Sahara.

This hotel is the pits,dirty,disgusting,gross,filthy,We stayed at this hotel 12yrs ago and thought it was nasty then, swore we never stay there again BUT we came to Las Vegas a day early,we were told Sahara went thru a remodel no other hotels were available SO we booked a room at Sahara what a mistake I should have known better as soon as we walked in and saw carpet I should have ran out then But being tired thought what the heck,MY GOD WHAT A DUMP.

8. The elevator was dirty , slow, hot and crowded getting off on to our floor wasn't any better, it felt like they had no air conditioning except when walking through the casino.
