7. I`ve never stayed in a standard room, but having stayed in the deluxe rooms both times, this is about the minimum standard that`s acceptable these days.

9. Also, we booked the room through Hotwire and I assume because of this the hotel would not accept our request for a non-smoking room or bed type preference when we contacted them directly.

10. I had read on here that the Tangiers tower is the best location, offering views of the strip, so I was a bit hesitant to accept the suite not knowing where it would be located.
