1. Rooms are very spacious but bathrooms are very small and need a little upgrade for example bath tub was old and shower head has seen it's better days.

2. I guess the location is good, and there is a TGI-Fridays and Starbucks inside (if you have no imagination on food choices), but I think if you're going to spend close to $200/night, there are better options in the area to chose from.

4. I would recommend a high floor and a river view, and if you want to see the bats then there isn't a better place to stay.

8. Since it wasn't a busy time for hotels in Austin, I was able to negotiate an even better rate than the already inexpensive rates they were offering online, getting a king suite with a lovely view of Lady Bird Lake for the price of a regular room, with parking and internet thrown in.
