1. LOCATION: The location is right across the street from the beautiful grounds and buildings of the Presidio, with the Palace of Fine Arts/Exploratorium a couple blocks in one direction and a challenging walk up the Lyon street stairs (288 steps.

8. This Travelodge is located in a quiet area sandwiched between the beautiful park-like Presidio, the upscale Pacific heights neighborhood, the Palace of Fine Arts, and the Golden Gate Bridge.
