5. The hotel has a look that reminded me the Overlook Hotel of Stephen King's 'The Shinning' novel (and movie), the corridors look a little creepy, but this is cool.

We recommend doing Alcatraz, the aquarium, Sausalito to see the Redwoods, drive over the Golden Gate Bridge, do Lombard Street, go on the trolleys, walk up and down the steep hills, go to Fisherman's Wharf and eat clam chowder and remember San Fran is pretty cool and windy so wear proper clothes.

10. It was very cool that it once served as City Hall, which explains the ornate lobby and the gorgeous stained glass.
