1. The location is very good, in the financial district (very quiet at night and very secure), walking distance to nob hill, chinatown, embarcadero, union square, telegraph hill and russian hill.

3. My stay was as follows:Pros: Location, cleanliness and maintenance of both rooms and common areas, friendly and efficient staff, room service availabilityCons: The smallest room I have ever had (and I usually book the smallest inside cabin on a cruise ship if that is any indication of how little space I require), paper thin walls, showers only, frustrating self check-in kiosk (which appears to be mandatory), bedding so inexpensive it will barely stay on the bedIn short, on my next trip I will be reverting back to securing a 4* hotel room in the Embarcadero/Financial District area via Hotwire or Priceline.
