Having stayed at this Westin for a week for a business trip/conference, I was pleasantly surprised by repeated encounters with just truly kind staff - from an always smiling, sweet housekeeper, to a bellhop who went out of his way to share with us the scoop on a behind the scenes fun walk to the waterfront, to all other staff encountered being just.

7. The dining room was overpriced and nothing special, it was raining so we thought of eating in, at 42 degrees not much fun in SF, but after looking at menu, prices and decor, we walked over to Four Seasons next door and a far better menu for a tad more, and the atmosphere was stellar.
