1. The Hotel is a couple of short blocks to the cable car loading station, get a daily pass for the public transportation in the area is the best choice.

6. The plates are paper with plastic knives and forks, coffee out of a machine and long queues into the area where the food is which on our visit consisted of a machine that made small pancakes, cereal section (best bit) and bread, bagels and one toasting machine.

10. Fisherman's wharf itself in November isn't the best place to be in San Francisco and I noticed far more homeless and begging going on around the streets than my last visit here 4 years ago - sign of the times I guess.
