1. There is a wine reception every evening where Theo (one of the front desk employees) will play his keyboard and you may even make some new friends from some far away places.

5. Even walking to Nob Hill was very doable (which we did on new Years Eve to catch the screening of Phantom of the Opera at Grace Cathedral.

6. The neighborhood is borderline but also not bad by SF standards and, as a native new Yorker I enjoyed eschewing the $30 overnight parking fee and successfully fending for myself on nearby streets.

7. I read the other reviews and was concerned about staying in a place where there might be a considerable and aggressive homeless population, but after staying here there weren't more than I'm used to as a new Yorker.
