2. a good meeting place and we met a few nice couples from the uk on tour plenty of restaurants round and about shops for convience and not too far too walk to union square about 10 mins only slight fault corner of road does attract ladies of the night and quite a few of them they dont hassle you but you may find it a bit off putting good hotel and an excellent stay.

3. got to room which was excellent beautiful big bed with hints of mexican decor all around the room spotless and faultless the hotel lobby is were it seems to all happen free wine at 5.

5. The bar next door - Fly - was excellent value: great local beer from $4, and excellent pizza for less than $10.

6. Position was excellent, not in the thick of it but about a 15 minute walk from the city centre/BART stations and just a short walk from cable cars and buses that can take you where you want to go - just ask the staff, they know the best way to get to places.
