We joined the loyalty program right before making reservation for the free wifi, and the free beverages left at our door every morning were also appreciated (one morning, orange juice from our order wasn't delivered, and upon us calling two full glasses of OJ were brought right away, a nice touch).

6. The hotel is fine if you are traveling alone during the week but I would look elsewhere if you are wanting a nice weekend pleasure stay with friends.

9. nice and quiet over the weekend in the Financial District, but very close to Union Square for shopping, China Town, Little Italy, Embacadero - no shortage of places to eat close by.
