2. The location is convenient for getting around SF--you're a few blocks' easy walk from the Muni bus/subway and Bart lines on Market Street, though the cable car line right out front (very helpful for getting up the steep hill on California Street) can involve long waits.

3. The hotel was in all regards excellent - room, service and staff very helpful in a great location breakfast( not included in cost) was good but expensivewould highly recommend for a stay in the city.

5. Every single person I encountered was delightful - I stayed 3 nights and the valets, doormen, front desk folks, and housekeeping folks all went out of their way to be friendly and helpful.
