me, you would probably think that leaving your passport in your hotel room would be a lot safer than carrying it round with you in an unfamiliar area.

When we asked staff (rude) about the booking we were told that what we book is 'a request and not guaranteed' - so they can basically stick you in any room they
like
regardless of what you book and PAY for.
