1. Be warned some places only take cash so the new credit card ( taken over from travellers cheques) cannot be usedAll in all an acceptable place to stay as long as you dont expect luxury.

7. I had a problem with paying with my debit card and although perhaps I should have checked whether they accepted it before we checked out I had thought that there wouldn't be an issue.

9. And if the management cared about the hotel's reputation during the, so called, expensive renovation, close the hotel until some level of acceptable standard of hygiene, cleanliness and acceptable decor can be reached.
