3. The room was very well appointed: comfy king size bed with nice linens and comforter; large wardrobe with plenty of drawers and space to hang our clothes; a safe large enough to fit a lap top; iron and ironing board; wall mounted flat screen TV; clock radio; a desk with an office chair and desk lamp; free internet which was easy to connect and fast; modern washroom with a large shower stall, Waterpik shower head, a Toto toilet with variable flush, blow dryer and good supply of towels; and there was a single cup coffee maker and supplies.

4. The Hampton Soho is not especially central (maybe 30 minutes walk to Union Square and the same again to where 5th Avenue meets Central Park) but it is well located for Soho, Chelsea, Tribeca and the downtown areas and has excellent subway links and plentiful cabs passing just steps from the front door.

5. The standard beds seem to be doubles so our party had two rooms with two double beds in each and plenty of walking-around space too.

7. The room (king with cityview) was quite large (there were not only a kingsize bed, 2 wardrobes and a desk, but also a couch), so we had plenty of room for our suitcases and shopping bags, and never feeled cramped.

10. The hotel itself is on a quiet block, but as mentioned, it's at the junction of SoHo and TriBeCa so you would be hard pressed not to find plenty to do - shopping, eating, drinking, music, etc.
