We arrived at 60 Thompson late at night exhausted from a 15hr flight from Hong Kong (memo to self: don't do HK to NYC again) but were still greeted by friendly smiling staff, we woke the next day and began our NYC adventure, we were advised by the breakfast staff to buy a weekly Metro ticket (29USD) which allowed us to travel anywhere within the Metro system (what a bargain and the Subway was safe and clean, we regularly had Police on carriages which gave us a great sense of security), we Metro map and system was easy to read and fun to travel.
