3. Accolades to whomever owns this hotel, or better yet, whomever manages this hotel, because he or she has clearly figured out how to instruct their staff to make a difference for visitors to the Soho area of NY that makes it all even more worth the trip.

4. The hotel is in a great location for shopping and restaurants, nearby is a good wine shop in Spring Street and also a laundry in Thompson street itsself if you need any clothes cleaned at a much better price than the fairly expensive hotel service.

5. You can do better with your downtown hotel choice than this unless you are a celebrity with a penchant for mushroom colours.

7. The Penthouse suite is sweet to stay in, as well as the Thompson suites, some ate better than others, but I like the place over all.
