I really don't know what people want and expect alot of the time, I had read reviews and thought maybe they did have a room that was dirty or whatever, but take into consideration the age of this hotel, they don't have a big budget (I assusme) to do mega bucks of renovations on it, so if you are happy to pay a little price for an old hotel, STAY HERE.
