1. The hotel is managed well - especially Scott G (general manager), Jenny E (reservations), Marian (front desk - checking out) and the concierge guy who remembered us and asked how our shopping trip went after he gave us advice on the previous day.

3. AC was effective and most importantly quiet enough - I just hate it when it goes on and off and makes a helluva generator-type noise when I try to get some sleep.

4. Called down to the front desk, who sent up a man whose only advice was to open the window, which we did, as far as possible (had already opened the one in the bathroom), but due to some law of physics, the air masses inside and outside the room did not want to move (window opened onto back of the building, loud generator noise), and so the room remained so hot that we had to sleep - when we could - on top of the covers.

5. Good aspects: Subway and bus terminals at Time Square can take you anywhere, and the rooms presented well enough space / Bad aspects: standards below average in terms of hygiene and services in general.
