1. It is an older hotel, but with large comfortable, clean rooms and wonderful service.

2. Who stays in their hotel all the time when they're in the heart of Manhattan anyways, right? So get out there and enjoy all that this wonderful city has to offer and given your budget, consider a stay at the Salisbury.

5. About 3 doors down there is an Italian Restaurant called Angelo's (I think) the food was wonderful we went there a number of times.
