1. They may be in the middle of doing some of the rooms up? We stayed for 4 nights and I've recommended it to another friend who is on her way there in August.

5. Staff is friendly, across the street you'll find NY's best burger tucked away in the Parker Meridien and on the corner there are fine choices for breakfast (Cafe Europa for example).
