1. Walking south just a few blocks takes you down to a lovely promenade area which looks over to Fisher Island, and where we watchted the cruise ships go by on their way out to sea.

2. That being said, they did seem to be re-doing the chairs as during the day you could hear a sanding noise coming from a workshop in the basement that had it's door open to the pool and we did see one chair that was all lovely and new looking with a brand new teak stain on it our last day there.

3. No stains, no chips, no bad smells at all (and I am VERY sensitive to smells) and the views were lovely.

4. It looked more of a mini condo with one king size bed, love seat, & came with a microwave, fridge, safe.

5. -Oceanfront hotel, beach is steps away, free towels and chairs-location is amazing, right in south beach, steps from main drag ocean drive-room very large (we had room 305)-nice, large sundeckCons:-rooms are super dated, stuck in the 80's, unless you love the 80's, then you're set-room 305 had a bedroom and a living room area with 2 couches) but kinda smelled a little (not horrible though) and had no view-it was facing a parking lot and a bldg-no hangers in closets-hotel needs a makeover-used to be 2 hotels and merged into one, our friends got the other side of the hotel and got a really small room.

9. We loved the private entrance to the beach from the hotel(although be careful, it locks at sunset and we got locked out one time and had to walk around).
