1. While we had a pretty decent room, I can imagine that if there are less renovated rooms than what we were in, it could be a bit sketchy.

3. Breakfast is very very light & basic - very continental, choice of apples (if you are lucky maybe oranges will be there), muffins, toast, jam, butter, orange juice, coffeeAll in all it was decent - still so next time I will not use hotwire.

PROS: Good location near restaurants & Heart of South Beach; Great Beach Access; Seemed Family Friendly & Not too noisy (except when work crew was working on an adjacent room); decent size rooms & bathrooms; Friendly staff-although not overly knowledgeable about the area when asked about location of different stores.

7. Our room was decent and they provided a mini-refrigerator which was helpful in storing our own beer rather than paying $10 for them out on the beach.

9. I'm not saying the hotel doesn't need some work because it does - but we felt comfortable there - and there are restuarants directly across the street, and a half a block down - so not having a decent restuarant was not an issue for us.
