1. In fact, because I was so worried due to the Trip Advisor reviews, I was pleasantly surprised by every aspect of the stay.

2. Seriously, we were there for 7 full days and we must have interacted with more than a dozen valets or concierges -- they were all cordial, pleasant, informative, happy, and smiling.

3. We arrived at midnight, the staff - from the valet to the front desk - were just pleasant and excited about our arrival as if we had arrived in the middle of the day.

4. If one were able to visit this resort on some off week, it might be pleasant, but we must travel within school vacations, so my guess is that this family resort is often slow on the off-season, but I will not be returning.

10. One presumably comes to Hawaii for the sun and beaches and not to stay inside, but I found it much more pleasant to sit on my room balcony and look out over the ocean instead of being herded below.
